Biography
Hello! I’m Nolan Robertson. I am an award-winning songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music teacher offering online and in-person lessons in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I am also the leader and founder of the Fort Worth band The Hendersons. My musical interests are wide-ranging, and have led me to learn and compose for a wide variety of different instruments and styles.
I have been writing and playing music for nearly twenty years, and during that time I’ve developed a large catalog of original music, as well as a strong insight for what makes a good song or piece of music work. It is my passion and privilege to share what I’ve learned with others, and I feel very lucky to do so!

In my five-plus years as a music instructor, I’ve taught thousands of lessons in all different styles to musicians of all ages and skill levels.
My priority as a teacher is to work with my students on determining their musical goals, to set up a direct path toward attaining those goals, and to offer objective, substantive feedback along the way.
When we set clear and reasonable expectations for ourselves and practice diligently, there is pretty much nothing we can’t achieve!

Cancellation and Makeup Lesson Policy
Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled lesson will not qualify for a makeup lesson except in the case of illness or other emergency. Makeup lesson must take place within 30 days of the originally scheduled slot.
If I need to cancel a lesson, I will try my best to accommodate a convenient reschedule for you. If an accommodation cannot be made, I will offer a free lesson the following month.
